The Cameron University Art Program will be hosting visiting artist Don Crouch on August 28.
The event will include his presentation, titled “Don Crouch: The Collector and the Master,” and the exhibition of his art, which is titled “Myth and Reality: Western Masters.”
Crouch’s visual lecture will be the first portion of the event. It will begin at 6 p.m. in the McCutcheon Recital Hall of the Music Building. A visual lecture is a presentation told through the accompaniment of art or pictures, being told through visuals as well as verbal delivery.
The art exhibit will follow the lecture. It will open with a reception at 7:30 p.m. in the Art Teaching Gallery, located in the Art Building. The exhibition will be on display through September 26. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The gallery will be closed September 1 in observance of Labor Day.
